We have been learning about Sadako Sasaki, and Hiroshima Peace Day. We have folded an amazing 1000 cranes since last Monday! A Japanese legend says that 1000 cranes folded will make a wish come true.
Mr Webby came in to learn how to fold a crane - and his crane was our 1000th. Penny and Jared were amazing kaiako!

We came up with some possible wishes, and then had a vote. Peace for the world was the overwhelming winner.
